Hi, folks... howdy? _o/
In the same day I did the last post sketch, I did this.
Let me explain it. asked me to try to do a sketch from Harley Quinn, from Batman. Well, I found it too obvious to draw her in her costume, so I tried to do something different; I was thinking about who is the woman behind the fantasy of total insanity.
Sorry about the Batman huge fans, but I'm not enough familiar with the character to discover how she might be. I know she used to be psychiatrist at Arkhan Asyllum and that she fell in love with the Joker and his lies about his unhappy childhood. She's a very passionate, dangerous and totally obsessed character, and only made Gotham's atmosphere more captivating.
Despite all this information, I couldn't found a picture of her without her jester clothes. So I tried in this sketch to materialize how I think she would might be in the 21st century...
I thought her as a woman. For the passion that lies beyond her madness, I tried to make very expressive lips... lips, in a sensual woman, can express more than thousands of liric poems.
Luh, I hope you like this experiment... ^^
(when I have time, I'm gonna try to fit the costume)
I really like this work. I never would have known it was Harley cause, as you said, we never see her out of costume but daaaaaaamn.... if we DID see her like THAT more often, I think I'd be drooling, and becoming jealous of The Joker : P
